I did my first rain check last week,the offer was too good and they were out of stock,so why not!

I’ve never actually asked for a raincheck – I always forget!

I do this all the time too. Woolworths rain checks last for 12 months so totally worth getting one when the product is a good price and out of stock.

Yes, this works for most things in most shops.

I know supermarkets do but drives me crazy where a lot of other stores say no and specify it in their brochure. The problem is they have these awesome sales and then never get the stock! I get so excited and then let down lol

Rainchecks are never on the items I want as they are usually the sale items! Good to let people know about rainchecks; may be helpful.

Yeah, now the store gets smarter. Some items cannot be rainchecked. Some items were still out of stock for months after the special (too many rainchecks, I guess).

The raincheck expires in 30 days as well. It’s harder and harder to get the bargain.

Many supermarkets give a rain check, however Coles only give a 30 day coupon, and Woolworths 12 months.

  Never thought of getting a rain check at a supermarket.

Some items don’t allow rainchecks . When you get one, you can nominate the number of items that you wish to get the rainchecks on. Then you have from 4 weeks to 52 to purchase that item at the special deal.

That’s a great tip. I have done it a few times
