I love having a good cup of cappuccino or a caramel latte from my local cafe but noticed that my partner and i spend around $20-$30 a week on coffee which is a lot!! I just love the taste of coffee from the cafe can anyone recommend a really good cappuccino machine? I don’t mind the price as long as it’s good quality and makes delicious coffee :)

  • My brother got a coffee machine from Woolworths and looks very nice in his kitchen . I didn’t know you can even get a machine like that at a supermarket .

  • I inherited my mother in laws Mr Cuppacino machine. I love it and it still works. My son bought me a Nespresso that you put pods in, that makes tasty coffee too

  • It really depends on how much you want to spend and if you want an automatic one. We started with a cheapie and then upgraded to the middle of the range sunbeam.

  • Aldi has good and affordable machines.

  • did you pick a machine yet?

  • Aldi’s machine is pretty good and they have lots of flavours including caramel and chocolate etc. If you’re after a pod machine and really want great coffee, the Nespresso range is a better quality coffee. I have both and while we use the Aldi one for flavours and for the teens in the house, the Nespresso is a smoother coffee for coffee lovers.

  • Aldi expressi without a doubt. It is awesome. I also have the milk frother.I can’t say enougb good things about this machine. It gives me my latte experience at home. There are heaps of pods to choose from, all with varying strength and flavour.

  • I just can’t go past the Nespresso machines. I have had mine for years now and it’s still going strong. We also have one at work too (very lucky). The one at work is top of the line and mine is a cheap one and I can’t really tell the difference to be honest.

  • I’ve got a Philips saeco syntia I got it from Harvey Normans for $1100 and I love it, I buy coffee beans from my local hudsons cafe.
My only advice if you like hot coffee don’t buy one that has a milk container on the side as that doesn’t heat the milk nearly enough, plus frothing your on milk is much better.

  • There are lots of machines out there and often shops do a tasting as you have to buy their pods /capsules, so make sure you like the coffee before you purchase the machine!

  • I have an aldi expessi machine and milk frothier , have had it for about 2 and 1/2 years we love it so much variety to choose from in their range of pods

  • I know you said you want a coffee machine but the aldi pod coffee machines are absolutely amazing. I won’t drink instant coffee anymore and it’s so cheap
I spent $125 on the machine, the frother, and 3 different flavoured pods

  • Probably depends on if you want a pod machine or a beans machine. You supposedly get a better coffee with a beans machine but it’s extra effort. For me the pod machine is worth the convenience. I have the manual beans machine but was never bothering to grind the beans so bought them already ground – which takes away the freshness already. Then the effort of doing it all and the milk etc meant I couldn’t do it quickly in the morning so would end up at a cafe for take away anyway. The pod machines make a good coffee in less than a minute and I’m out the door. I love my Nespresso U – but would also like a latissima.

    • My brother & his partner have THE machine, but I’m still 100% sure I love my Nespresso machine more!

  • I just have one from Aldi, Have had it for about 2 years now & love it.. They have a variety of capsules too – I think it was about $100 for the machine & $30 for the frother :)

  • I also spent way too much on cafĂ© coffee’s but since having my Nespresso Pixie machine I’m enjoying my cappuccino’s in the comfort of my home! It was the best purchase I have made, I love my coffee!
