I have not had to treat headlice yet, however I am sure over the years I will have my fair share. However I wanted to share with you what my mum used to do to me. I have VERY long hair to the point I used to sit on it. I would get lice in kindergarten at least once a fornight – after fighting with the school to move me around the class to try to eliminate them.. The only thing that actually stopped me from getting them was putting baby oil in my hair everyday – it made it too slippery for the lice to grip on too. However I think that it also has resulted in my having very oily hair! Damn those headlice

i hadn’t heard of this before. some headlice products are oily though

tea tree oil in shampoo is a good to help not getting them

Also; lots of hairspray all over hair keeps them away.

Tea tree oil seems to work well.
