Roller skating - Real Mum story on MoM

We went roller skating today. What a blast! I can’t remember the last time I strapped on a pair of skates! I used to go religiously on Friday nights when I was a teenager but, that was many, many years ago.

So today, our local council ran free activites during the school holidays and roller skating was one of the options. The kids had so much fun and are keen to go again and if I’m honest, I’m looking forward to going again too!

We had to compromise to adjustable roller blades as we couldn’t find the correct size roller skates to fit his feet.

I can just about stand up in high heels let alone roller skate but I can see it could be great fun and great exercise too.

I haven’t been skating since I was a kid and I remember having roller blades that were black with yellow and pink on them. This year I think ill buy my kids some skates for Christmas! What fun we had has kids with them!

That’s so good. I was actually thinking of buying second hand roller-skates for me and my daughter.
