Good habit as I also enjoy browsing . If it is not urgent there is no need to get it now and by that time you might not even want it . My brother in law is very persistent . What he does is he may keep an eye out on an item and then purchase it perhaps the 3rd round of sale . He either misses it ( because its gone ) or grabs it at a good price .

I am so bad with this. I find its more convenient to do all the shopping in one place. on occasions I have been known to sit down and inspect weekly catalogues to see where the things we need for the week are on special…but with the kids its so easier to just go to one place…I need to start doing this technique again as saving money is an awesome feeling and frees up money to spend elsewhere on fun things to do with the family

I love saving money . Anyway me and my husband can save money we will. As we have just built our home any money we can save will help get thing done around the yards

I often get called a bargain hunter and I get a thrill out of saving a dollar. I have to admit its mostly out of necessity however I still love seeing how little I can spend each week. Most people think Im strange but I love it.

I always keep a shopping list on the fridge, so we know what we’re running short of & need to buy. And I won’t go shopping without a list, which I try to stick to. so that I’m not wasting money buying things that we don’t need. And I go through all the supermarket “junk mail” catalogues, looking for bargains, and if there’s something that we always use & it’s going cheap, I’ll buy multiples to save more money.

  Online shopping is great I love eBay and I like looking on other site for bargains , I’ve look around of weeks for a washing machine and I’ve saved $95

online sales and auctions are always great for a bargain, I usually get a large portion of my xmas gifts this way

  I save so much money looking around for items, even when we go away on holidays I look around for weeks to get the best deal, the money is better in my pocket

I too always take forever to purchase something, always looking for the better deal.
I always buy stuff in multiples when it is cheap but found that it is best to only buy products your family loves. Don’t try new things en masse, because if the family don’t love it it is a waste.

I love to wait for the sales and also do a lot of online and op shops

I love to wait until a descent sale and than grab what it is we need but even in every day things if it’s a good bargin I grab it as it saves me money down the track

When I moved into my first house nearly everything in my house was preowned. My dining table to the lounges all I did was buy new covers and cushions from kmart and they looked brand new. The only new things I bought was beds and plates ect and I saved so much that way I just love looking for great bargins

  That’s the way to do it well done

I also love going to the markets as they often have great produce at much cheaper prices. I’ve found that the veggies at my local farmers market are much fresher and last longer so I can stock up while I am there. Saves me a good $20-$30!
