Hello!

My sister has recently started back at work after having my niece and I’m looking after her. Each day she comes over I take pictures of what we do and take notes. I’m putting together a scrap book of our adventures which I plan to give to my sister for Christmas. It’s not fancy or very crafty, just me writing notes and pictures throughout the day. I tried to trace her little hands rather unsuccessfully. In the coming weeks I will take a handprint with paint. Hoping my sister likes it! It’s a secret for now.

  • Great idea. It must be hard for your sister going back to work and that will help her feel she is not missing out. And it is something that the child can look back too (our teenagers surprised me by watching the home videos of them as toddlers and spotting all the old soft toys etc. that they used to love and it brought back memories even for them!)
