Hello!

Today my son and I had a great day. I went shopping for some badly needed new clothing and we went to the library and his reward for being so patient with me and helping chose some clothes was a trip to Smiggle. Apparently it is the Mecca of all school aged children. Not only were the staff wonderfully helpful, but the product range was amazing. We bought my son a watch for $20 that he has been wanting for ages and a pencil case for homework with chocolate scented grey LEDs and sharpeners and a calculator included. We also bought some pencil grips for him, as kids with ADHD tend to grip their pencils tight and find it hard to write. When I commented on how great they were for these kids, the staff member was great and showed me a product that was great for kids to fiddle with at school (kids with autism and ADHD often find sensory things great as they can fiddle and not distract others). It was a great experience and I recommend the store.

  • Always a popular shop I have never bought anything from there as every time we have gone in to smuggle ( school holidays ) it’s packed and you can’t move , will have to go when the kids are at school

  • I only found out about Smiggle via an online search and a recent trip to Sydney I made a point of having a look at one of their stores – like how they colour co-ordinate their items and being a big kid at heart just love all their products, DD had to push me out of their shop.

  • What a great shop! I think it is brilliant that these items for ADHA & Autism sufferers can make a big difference for them. Thank you Smiggle.

    • I think so too and I know you understand this sort of thing ashblonde. It’s hard to source products online that have been tried and tested. At least if it’s in a Smiggle store it’s readily accessible and children are in love with Smiggle. It’s my sons ultimate destination for a reward.

  • My kids love Smiggle too – they usually check it out when we are at the airport. That fiddling thing sounds great – I think I need to get one for my son!

    • My son calls it “fluffy” lol, but it is really a ball with rubber little bits coming out of it. It’s hard to describe, but he loves fiddling with it. I love the smell of all of their products. We went there a little while ago, but this time he had been so good we took a look around and it was amazing. It was like the Willy Wonka of stationary. They had chocolate smelling grey lead pencils and lollipop erasers that smelt divine.
