Hello!

Today my son and I had a great day. I went shopping for some badly needed new clothing and we went to the library and his reward for being so patient with me and helping chose some clothes was a trip to Smiggle. Apparently it is the Mecca of all school aged children. Not only were the staff wonderfully helpful, but the product range was amazing. We bought my son a watch for $20 that he has been wanting for ages and a pencil case for homework with chocolate scented grey LEDs and sharpeners and a calculator included. We also bought some pencil grips for him, as kids with ADHD tend to grip their pencils tight and find it hard to write. When I commented on how great they were for these kids, the staff member was great and showed me a product that was great for kids to fiddle with at school (kids with autism and ADHD often find sensory things great as they can fiddle and not distract others). It was a great experience and I recommend the store.

  • I must admit I thought Smiggle products were a fancy way of jazzing up your stationary. I didn’t realise they had products suitable for ADHD.

    • I didn’t realize this also. Will have to take a look as never been into one of these stores.

  • Smiggle is great – all sorts of clever little bits of stationery.
