We just had a new supermarket open up in our area, woolies and aldi. its interesting to see them compete and the specials have been amazing. even the grocer is joining in. kinda feel sorry for them though. wonder what specials we can look forward to this week. we had $1 strawberry’s, avocado and caulis! feel sorry for iga though… even spud shed, a little

I find Coles and Woolworths are reducing and matching prices on alot of items,got to be happy about that!

We also have an Aldi that just opened in my area. And it’s nice to see how Coles and Woolworths are reducing their prices. At the end it’s very good for the customer thus!

Price wars are never good for independent grocers. Difficult to compete against the bigger chains.
