Hello!

So I was in Woolworths the other day doing my shopping and I had Master 3 with me at the time. We were both looking at the vegetables when a person behind me dropped something and started swearing. I was slightly horrified that words like that were being said around little listening ears. But I also was very thankful when the person looked around and noticed my little boy there and apologised to me and said she shouldn’t have said them around my little boy. Very thankful that she aware that it was not appropriate, thankfully Master 3 didn’t add to his vocabulary that day :)

  • Maybe the person wasn’t used to being around children, glad she said sorry!

  • It was good that she apologised….even better if it hadn’t happened at all.

  • Omg! I try not to swear in public or in front of my LO but you never know when one might slip out. If i see other kids i make a conscious effort. I’m glad she apologised. I would have :)

  • I’m not a fan of swearing in public.

  • Personally I wouldn’t swear somewhere as public as a supermarket, but thankfully she apologised and your son didn’t add to his vocabulary.

  • Luckily! :-)
And it was very good indeed to apologize. Not everybody would have done that in the same situation.
