up date on my cervical screening! - Real Mum story on MoM

A little while ago now I wrote my story of how I’ve been through A abnormal cervical screening and ended up with a lletz procedure where they remove a small section of your cervix, I hafd my 6 month check up and all is clear was the best news ever to know that my risk of cancer had gone down a huge amount, I still have another set of tests to do in another 6 months and then I will be celebrating I was so scared going into this as my mum has just had a full hysterectomy from the same issues, after this next set we are thinking of having more kids I will be a high risk pregnancy since I’m missing a small part of cervix to hold bub in…….

Moral of the story,

GET YOUR CERVICAL TEST DONE REGULARLY LADIES -:-)

I had a radical hysterectomy ( they gut you like a fish everything is removed ) 20 yrs ago because of the cells beginning to change in my uterus and without the operation they only gave me 6 weeks.It is a very scarey time but I hope knowing I survived it will help you .

Good on you I went down hysterectomy road. After having my twins ,,,leave
Ing one tube and ovary. So not to go straight to menopause last year 25 years later. I went to get out of bed and I double up in pain. I had a cysts. I had it removed and I am really well … So mums like us can dance again it’s just love from family and friends and bloody good dr.

Fingers crossed for you that your next lot of test you pass with flying colours and fantastic new from this set so glad its not as bad as you though. Total;y agree, get them tests done ladies early detection is so so important.
