Update for money doesnt buy happiness

For those of you that remember, my husband and I agreed that her would step down from his managers role due to stress and not much family time.
He is now at a store 10 minutes from home, we have dinner as a family nearly every night. We have a roster that is a month in advance, no call outs in the middle of the night. But the best thing of all is my husband is a much happier man. Friends and family are noticing too. Financially we are doing fine. So glad we made the change

This is so great to hear. My husband is a store manager and drives 1+ hours each way on country roads in the dark to get to and from work. It’s a stressful enough job without the travel and we are hoping he can soon relocate to town. There is a store we can see from our house that would be perfect and so good for the kids!

Congratulations on choosing happiness and family time over money, my husband did the same a few years ago when we had kids, and although at times money is tight it is the best thing we ever did.
