My grandson is four and he is going through a stage which is quite tiring. Everything you talk about or you see something,he will ask WHY nanny and you explain to him Then he will ask WHY nanny about your answer this goes on all day Does anyone else experience this

  • I was walking around our backyard one say carrying a toddler who had not long started walking but she had no shoes on and our cement paths were too hot to let her walk on. Her Dad came to visit my brother while his wife was in hospital while waiting for visiting hours. As I was walking around with her she was pointing at things and saying “what’s that” By the time they left I thought I would dream of her saying “what’s that?”

  • My kids always used to say to my dad “What are you doing Grandad?” To which my dad always, no matter what he was doing, would reply “Picking grapes! What does it look like I’m doing?” It was very offputting and upset me quite a lot. He hasn’t had much to do with his other grandkids, I would like to think ge would appreciate seeing mine more and not be so flippant

    • Being a grandparent is such a privilege for so many people and little ones can learn so much from them.
