Wrong immunizations at 4 months - Real Mum story on MoM

I am so annoyed and upset at the moment my 4 month old just had her immunizations for her 4 monthly ones and we have just been informed they gave her the wrong needles it was only one part of the needles she needed. Apparently we need wait till this friday for the 2 needles she WAS meant to have had as need to order them and after she has them will need to wait 2 weeks after due every time after. Im just hoping she be ok having 2 more needles and doesnt harm her in anyway. It makes you wonder what is happening when gps do this, has anyone else ever experienced any thing like this and what was the outcome?

Unfortuately mistakes occur and the clinic will have changed their procedures following this ind=cident.

This is bot a good thing to happen & these doctors & nurses should be investigated as that is a form of neglect. When my daughter has hers done, it takes them 10-20mins to thoroughly check they have everything correct. Then they go through it with us staying it’s for the 4 months & what each one is for. We get ours done at the doctors surgery.

this should not have happened, have you spoken to the child health immunisation dept.

  Child health should be able to tell you if there is any side effects, usually doses are the minimum for the age group.
