Baileys meet Magnum ... a match just made for mums.

Every now and then, you discover something that’s too good not to share! And believe me, this naughty little treat is just SO GOOD!

First things first of course – this is not in any way shape or form a sponsored post. I just couldn’t not share this ‘to die for’ combo. I also didn’t get the bottle for free – I used the last New Zealand dollars I had in my wallet last Sunday night!

I was in New Zealand over the weekend and as I filled in the hour before my flight left, a lovely lady in the duty free store encouraged me to try the new, exclusive and only available duty free at the moment Orange Truffle Flavour Baileys. And of course, you know the rest. I convinced myself hubbie would love me to buy him a bottle and so I did. Such a shame he didn’t want to join me this evening when I cracked the lid and loaded the ice into a glass. What he did add to the joy of this discovery was that there were two Magnums left in the freezer.

So not being one to skimp once I’ve decided to treat myself, I skipped to the end and immediately imagined the baileys and the ice cream oozing together and the ice cream making the combo even more creamy.

So yes, total indulgence but pure bliss.

I’m thinking these would be a super cute quick mid week dessert when friends pop over – but I’d use the mini ice creams next time.

I love baileys over ice cream, and also made into a chocolate mousse, but I can’t say I am keen to try an orange truffle flavour, doesn’t sound appealing to me at all

I love the indulgence part of it but not so sure about the Orange Truffle flavour.
