Ok Aldi lovers, get your gloves on – the latest budget buy is sure to have shoppers lining up and wrestling in-store.

Aldi special buys always have a hot ticket item, recently there have been a heap of kitchen gadgets on sale and cooking up a storm in the kitchen usually creates messy floors… well, in my case, disgusting floors (and God help us all if my husband gets cooking – he uses every utensil we own and according to him, cooks with ‘passion’).

Luckily Aldi seem to read minds and are selling a $39 wet and dry vacuum to clean up after us. Do you think they’ll also get someone to come and do it for me? That’d be amazing…

So here it is, the $39 wet and dry vacuum….

aldi wet and dry vacuum $39

Now, I don’t exactly know how these things work, but anything that does two things at once and saves me time sounds like a winner. I don’t mind vacuuming, but mopping drives me crazy – will this be the answer to my prayers? Possibly. For $39 I think I’ll give it a go – providing I can get my hands on one in the mad rush that is Aldi special buys.

My biggest concern is that this one is like the Kmart vacuum that cost $59 with the promise of performing like a Dyson…. that was a flop, I think it performed like the Dyson for about 10 minutes, then NEVER DID IT AGAIN. Anywho… I digress.

Aldi supermarkets are all around the world and this wet and dry vacuum is part of their own brand range, WorkZone. They’ve also got power tools on special buys this weekend in case you’re looking to grab an early Christmas present for someone, or perhaps you’re about to embark on some DIY projects around the house.

Have you used a wet and dry vacuum before? Will you be heading in-store to pick up one of these? SHARE with us in the comments below.

  • If the Kmart one didn’t work properly I would have taken it back. No doubt the Aldi shops will only have a few of these and they’ll be gone before most people can reach them.

    • Yes, unless you like to frustrate yourself 😉

  • I’ve had a riobi wet/dry shop vac for years and I love it. I think it was around $70 and it just goes and goes and goes.

  • My mum had a Vac, not sure if that’s the correct name, doesn’t sound right. Mum had a wet dry vac. I’ve never owned one though. I have a steam mop, a cordless Dyson and a heavy duty Dyson. I do like the look of these though, one would come in handy

  • My hubby bought a cheap $40 wet dry vac to use in the shed and it’s brilliant! I use it inside sometimes and it’s lasted a few years so far. This one should be good for a cheapie!

  • For $39 you probably can’t complain however most cheap things don’t work for long enough. Wonder if this is actually any good then?
