Alarmist headline on antivax pamphlet currently being dropped in letter boxes around the country.
“VACCINES killed my baby,” the pamphlet reads.
The person behind the pamphlet is anti-vaccine campaigner Stephanie Messenger.
She shares her story on the pamphlet, saying that she did the right thing and vaccinated her baby and then he started to slowly die.
Her son, Jason Drew, spent months undergoing examination at the Children’s Hospital in Camperdown in 1977 before he was diagnosed with an inherited genetic disorder called Alexander’s Disease.
“They said it was genetic. They went on to explain why I should never have any more children as they could all be inflicted with this condition.”
Ms Messenger insists, “Vaccination killed him, I have no doubt.”
“Deaths from vaccines are being hidden from the public,” the pamphlet states.
Ms Messenger also associates SIDS with infant vaccines.
She says she now has “3 healthy, totally unvaccinated children, who have never had a childhood disease. Unlike their vaccinated friends who have often succumb to the diseases they have been vaccinated against. I kept these children fit and well using what is provided by nature – natural foods, clean water, sunshine, clean air, exercise, adequate sleep and a loving and nurturing environment.”
Adding, “It saddens me to know there are thousands of babies out there being damaged, disabled or lost every year and they have no voice to stand up against the powerful drug companies and, what is now an industry, and scarcely a profession – medicine.”
As Jane Hansen writes for Herald Sun, “Vaccines are under incredible scrutiny for safety. There is no “cover-up” as Ms Messenger alleges.”
In August we shared that people are outraged doctors are advising anti-vaxxers how to dodge ‘no jab, no play’.
In 2018 we will see a clamp down on anti-vaxxers with new laws to be introduced banning unvaccinated children being enrolled in schools.
