Just as people who are pro vaccination, this woman has every right to be anti vaccination.

First of all, she has every right to be sad and angry at the passing of her child but she doesn’t have the right to make stuff up. This lady “believes” vaccination killed her son, belief isn’t proof. Imagine if everyone took her stance — polio, measles, chickenpox and the like would still be rampant today. Her children enjoy good health because of the responsible people in the community who do vaccinate. Still, she has an agenda, beliefs, a conspiracy theory and many platforms at her disposal so there’ll be no changing her mind anytime soon.

Her loss deserves every sympathy – however I support vaccinations.

Trauma can make people believe anything in their search for something solid to hold onto but the people who enable these fear campaigns need to be held accountable. There is a correlation between low vaccine rates and re-emergence of diseases or high cases of disease and to have more innocent people suffer due to misinformation is unforgivable.

Some School Principals have been asking parents if their child has been vaccinated since the late 1980s. I know of one example at a SA Public School. There a few inherited genetic diseases that kill children, some a lot younger than others Unless the Mum’s younger children have been tested, she may find they develop it later. It is believed that some cases of SIDS may have been heart defects. I know a St. John Ambulance Volunteer who has been called to SIDS cases. They are the cases he dreads more than any other. He reckons each one’s nappy had a very strong ammonia type smell.

So she had three more children even after being told there was a risk they may also die slowly? Does she not understand how genetics work?

Not sure. There is a medical explanation why her child sadly died. For what I understand the Alexander’s Disease is a progressive disease. It was just a coincidence that the symptoms came out around the same time the child had the vaccination.
