Easy craft at home 🙂 Candle or wax painting to reveal a hidden surprise


Material

  • 1 candle
  • 1 paint brush
  • 1 cup of water (to rinse brush)
  • Many sheets blank paper
  • Set of chosen water based paints (non toxic and child friendly)

Method

  1. Draw a picture or write a hidden message on your piece of paper.
  2. Paint with whatever colours you choose :) And watch as your hidden picture or message appears.
  3. Dry in a safe area. And enjoy your beautiful memento from your children.

  • this is fun and if you have older kids that can spell, this is a great way to communicate by writing what you want and then letting them reveal the message. you could make this so fun

  • We’ve done this as an activity at a party and it was a great success. You can also use a white crayon in place of a candle.
