Chalk party paint pictionary game - Arts, Crafts and DIY

A great creative party game for the kids to play

Material

pack of coloured chalk
an outdoor surface that you can easily hose down
a list of things to draw

Method

Pretty easy as all you need to do is get the kids together
The first person to play has to be whispered the name of an object or item ie (strawberry, tree)
They then have to draw it on the ground whilst the other kids guess what it is.
The first to guess is the next to draw and the winners will receive a prize of choice!
wash down at the end of the day with a hose / buck of water

Notes

Example words for the kids to draw.
A tree, a flower, a house, the world, a cat, a dog, a giraffe, a carrot, a smurf, a strawberry, a melon, an apple, a doughnut, a pizza... etc

Brilliant idea. We would have to use the footpath as we dont have a driveway thats concrete.

My kids and their friends/cousins had hours and hours of fun with chalk and out cement slab. I still have packets of chalk for when friends visit with kids

I love this. Funny, but I recently seen a resurgence of chalk hopscotch and chalk drawings in my neighbourhood. It makes me smile and takes me back to my childhood.

Love this idea, we do something similar involving letting the little ones loose from the back door step to down the driveway. Let them go with giant tubs of outdoor chalk with the task of coming up with as many bright and creative drawings that they can till the entire space is filled. Then they are judged- with the winner being impossible to pick as they are all so great and they then all get a treat…. but the true treat is in having them outdoors being naturally curious and creative
