The project Miss M Online Classes for kids is founded by a teacher, mum and an entrepreneur for children 8-12 with the sole objective in mind: to teach kids essential life skills yearly and connect their academic knowledge to real life.

The idea of the project was born when Julie, a Melbourne-based mother of two primary school children, realised that modern education misses a very important point of answering the question her own kids once had: Why do I need to go to school? Why do I need to learn neat handwriting? Why do I need to write right given typed texts are easily autocorrected?

By creating this project, she was willing to establish this connection and motivate kids to become what they want to be through active, self-driven learning. This prompted her to unpack her teaching degree and recent teaching experience in primary school classrooms along with her entrepreneurial experience of the past 17 years, and blend them into amazing online courses designed specifically for kids.

She generously shares the knowledge and ignites the spark for independent learning through highly engaging examples kids see in their everyday life.

Marketing foundations: How to start business as a child.
Unmarketing: How to buy smart and make independent decisions in the shopping environment.
Time management basics for kids.

Julie created these courses with her own children in mind. They answer many of the questions children have, explain how marketing works and help them to optimise their time and view it as a valuable resource to live their life.It is a great investment parents can make into developing important life skills in their children, and giving them an opportunity to pursue self-education beyond school.

Bringing the practicalities to maths is a great idea. I really enjoyed maths as a kid and still do. I would hope this also helps bring a love of maths to my own kids

I would love to win Miss M’s online classes as the ultimate gift to one of my daughter’s in particular. She is very entrepreneurial for her young age, but she thinks you have to come from ‘wealth’ to be successful. She has passion and drive, and gratefulness in spades!

My child is finding reading difficult. This online class could be the missing link to bring joy to reading as well as allow my son to understand lessons in a way which works for his learning style.

With a newborn in our house (2 weeks old) i feel as though my attention to my 8 year old has become less. Learning and engaging in fun thought provoking ways would be extremely helpful during this period. I’d love for my son to continue to learn and feel supported with his learning, even if i cant spend as much time with him as i used to.

recently left my partner of 12 years due to domestic violence. ran for our lives with nothing. This would help benefit my kids as they have really bad anxiety in school learning and been in the class room so online studies would be very beneficial for them.
