In the past decade, nine out of 10 people who drowned while boating in NSW were not wearing lifejackets, so Transport for New South Wales is urging families and particularly Dads, to ensure safety is their number one priority on the water this summer holiday, simply by wearing a lifejacket in small craft.

With a new generation of comfortable, affordable, lightweight and stylish lifejackets available, there’s simply no excuse for not wearing one, whether boating, sailing, kayaking, or even jet skiing.

  • Family video because that’swhat life is all about having fun and realising family are important. Safety – taking care of eachother

  • The family one is appropriate for us, four kids in well fitting jackets and mum and dad without as they are so bulky.

  • Regardless of the message add a little humour into an advertising campaign and not only does it reach further but people register and remember it more….wish he’d cruise up to us in the boat offing life jackets!

  • I tried to buy some of these for Christmas, they are soo expensive but worthy, they are particularily great for kids with sensory issues.

  • This fisherman, funny as, like Shane with a serious message. A must-have new life jackets for my brother-in-law boat when he & hubby go fishing.

    If we won he would have no bad reason!

  • Love the fishermen one, the only thing we wanna see pulled out of the water without a life jacket is a fish, loved it
