Oscar(R) winner Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables) stars as Franny in this romantic drama set against the backdrop of Brooklyn’s vibrant modern-folk music scene.

When Franny’s musician brother Henry (Ben Rosenfield, Boardwalk Empire) suffers an accident that leaves him comatose, Franny returns home after a long estrangement and begins to use his notebook as a guide to how his life has evolved in her absence. She begins to seek out the musicians he loved, and meets James Forester (Johnny Flynn, Clouds of Sils Maria), Henry’s musical idol, whose success and fame belie a shy and private man.  As a strong romantic connection develops between Franny and James, the question becomes – can love bloom under the most adverse circumstances?

With terrific performances and an original soundtrack composed by Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice, Song One is a heartfelt story of two souls sharing a tender journey.

  • I think that Anne Hathaway is a fantastic actress and I really love her movies. This sounds like a warm-hearted but also a heart breaking movie, I’d love to see what happens so I’d really like to win a copy.
