This month MoM members could WIN 1 of 20 copies of the novel Fearless, the gripping new novel from the bestselling author of The Mothers’ Group and Wife on the Run.

Six strangers from across the world converge on the tropical island of Bali to attend a course designed to help them face their fears. Their backgrounds are as diverse as their fears – which range from flying, public speaking and heights, through to intimacy, failure and death.

Friendships and even romance blossoms as the participants are put through a series of challenges which are unusual, confronting and sometimes hilarious. A week of fun in the sun suddenly transforms into something far more serious, however, when the unthinkable happens – a tragic disaster that puts the group in deadly danger that will test the individual courage of every member.

  • My biggest fear is not being in total control of life, it’s very hard to have total control with a 2 year old. Some days it’s fly by the seat of my pants kind of day. I’m learning to breathe and realise sometimes it’s ok to just go with the flow.

  • My biggest fear is public speaking. Best way to overcome it is to be prepared with lots of practice!

  • My biggest fear is other humans who are unpredictable and behave violently towards myself or my family. I overcome it by mentally trying to think positive and by asking for help from police who are professionals who keep us safe.

  • My biggest fear are large scary spiders and to over-come it is to run a mile!
