  • It sounds like a book that i would love to add to my collection.

  • My Grandmother and Grand-Dad honeymooned in Katoomba and they travelled there every year 60 years by train to celebrate their Wedding Anniversary. There Blue Mountains Hotel is still there and Grandmother always asks if she can visit the room and she has morning tea in the dining room and she remember’s Grand-Dad who has passed away. Grandmother tells us many stories of her time staying there year after year and the people they met there. I bet she could write a book about what she learned as they were told thing in confidence. They were Salvation Army Officers serving the community all their lives Grandmother still does. I would like to give her a copy of THE PALACE TEARS to read. It will bring back memories of the Blue Mountains for sure.
