Rubik’s 3×3 Cube

Rubik’s 3×3 Cube

The Rubik’s Cube is the classic colour-matching puzzle that’s a great mental challenge at home or on the move. Turn and twist the sides of the cube so that each of the six faces only has one colour. Over “43 Quintillion” (that’s 43 with 18 zeros to you and me) moves are possible with this original 3×3 cube, but there is only one solution! Can you solve it in under 10 seconds? Rubik’s Cube is incredibly addictive and has fascinated fans since it arrived in 1980. A must for puzzle lovers, the aim is to twist and turn the Rubik’s Cube to return it to its original state, with every side having one solid colour.

For those who struggle to master this challenge – or simply lack the patience – we have provided a downloadable guide to the simplest ever Rubik’s Cube solution.

For 1 Player, Aged 8+.

Pass The Pen family board gamePass The Pen is the world’s fastest drawing game because the pen tip disappears as you play! You’ll get 10 seconds to draw while the other players guess. Is it a hamburger? A snowman? A sumo wrestler? You’ll earn points if someone gets it right; if not you’ll pass the pen so the next player can pick up where you left off. It’s fast, it’s fun and it’s guaranteed to draw out plenty of laughter!

For 3+ Players, Aged 8+.

Pop The Pig

Pop the Pig family game

Who’s going to Pop The Pig? Roll the die to see which coloured hamburger to select, choose a burger and turn it over to reveal the number. Then, put the burger into Pig’s mouth and pump Pig’s head the number of times as shown on the burger. Then it’s the next players turn. The more you pump, the more his belly grows until . . . POP! Children will love the suspense as they watch his belly grow; the player who makes his belly burst loses the game. Children can quickly reset this pig game with one pump of the pig’s head and experience consistent belly busting game-play each and every time! Pop the Pig provides hours of fun and is completely kid-powered (no batteries needed). For added convenience, all pieces can be stored in the pig.

For 2-6 Players, Aged 4+.

Rummikub

rummikub family board game

With more than 50 million units sold, Rummikub is one of the world’s best-selling and most-played games. It’s no surprise that Rummikub is so popular! After all, it has all the elements that make a great game: It’s easy to learn and fast-moving, it’s different every time it’s played, it combines luck and strategy and it changes quickly so every player has a chance to win until the very end!

Players take turns placing numbered tiles in runs (consecutive numbers of the same colour, like 2, 3, 4 in red) and groups (three or more of the same number in different colours, like a red 9, a blue 9, and a black 9), rummy style. It’s easy to learn, but packed with strategy. The “board” changes all the time as players adjust the tiles on the table. The Joker tiles add to the fun; they can be any colour or number. The object is to be the first player to play every tile on your rack. Players keep track of who wins each round–the player who wins the most rounds wins this time-tested tile game (there’s also a point system for use as a tie-breaker).

Rummikub is ideal for people of different ages to play together, and it’s great for a game night too. When kids play, it reinforces STEM and STEAM concepts such as sequencing, pattern recognition, and planning skills. It’s got lots of exciting moments, but it’s also designed to bring people together, with plenty of opportunities for talking, chatting, and sharing with family and friends.

Includes 106 plastic tiles, 4 racks and instructions.

For 2-4 Players, Aged 8+.
