  • Bath pjs lullabies and cuddles

  • has to be routine, same time ever night, drink ,book toilet then bed.

  • Going online to Mouths of Mums to find out other mums secrets, tips and tricks.

  • I’ve started laying in my little one’s bed at night and reading a novel with him. Right now we’re reading ‘The Jungle Book’ together, and though he is probably too young to understand the story fully he is so happy to get ‘Mummy cuddles’ that he stays in bed without arguments.

  • If all else fails….. bribery! Fur baby usually takes them to bed hes the best big brother.

  • I always use story time a good routine and one on one time which the kids love

  • For another 12 weeks the only kid who needs to get to bed is our fur-baby! All he needs is a rug and us nearby

  • We have definite set bedtimes. No arguing. Play after the bus drops them off, snack, farm work, them homework, dinner, TV or whatever then bed. Everyone gets tired. Grab a pet, cat or dog and off to bed. Confidentially the pets often get up and come back into the lounge.

  • There is no secret, It’s pure luck haha.

  • My secret is during the warmer months, go for a walk around the block a few times after dinner, then back to have a bath, then we read books in bed, each child gets to pick their own book and we read each book, then it’s sleep time

  • I was exhausted, needed to get my 2yo into a good bedtime routine before bub #2 arrives, now we read 3 stories, talk about exciting things we done that day, tell her how much I love her, give her a hug and kiss, switch her light off and walk out.

  • Have dinner then a bath and brushing teeth,Read a story or two or three and give lots of kisses and cuddles and talk about the day we had and what we might do the next day and finally a snuggle and bed.

  • Routine. Routine. Routine. We don’t the same things every night. Bath. Get dressed. Bottle. Read the same 2 stories. Then cuddles and kisses and into bed. Doesn’t always work but gotta stick to routine with babies

  • Consistency and routine, I sing perfect by Ed Sheeran just to put my mini human too sleep even though my voice sucks it works somehow

  • My 10 month old has just started to fight Bed time, we have cuddles, a book, a song then let him whinge until he stops fighting it.

  • A good routine and lavender spray on the pillow

  • Routine. Start it early and as they get older, it becomes second nature.

  • I love to read them a story to make it fun when it’s bedtime and I always give them a little surprise in the morning to make them go to bed faster lol

  • A drink of warm milk, stories, toilet and bed. We make a deal with the timing, so they feel like they are the ones controlling it, but really its in my favour.

  • Keep it calm and predictable.Never negotiate, never shout and never explain.Simple facts that Bedtime is approaching and this is what will happen.Whatever happens don’t get caught eating chocolate when you think they are settled.
