5 lucky MoM Members will WIN a NEW Sunbeam 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill, valued at $119 each.

How do you sanga?

We all have different ways of creating our sangas … whether you’re an OLD FAITHFUL with the classic cheese toastie, a snack EXPLORER with surprise fillings in between your sanga, or an INNOVATOR with wild fillings (Cheesy Mi Goreng Toastie?).

The NEW Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill features the patented AnyHeight Control™ Lever that lets you cook different types of sangas and snacks easily.

Features of the 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill include:

  • Fits 6 Sandwiches – Create evenly browned toasties with beautifully melted cheese without any squishing or flattening.
  • Space-Saving Storage – Conveniently fold up for stand-up storage. Keep your cupboard neat with the built-in cord wrap hidden at the base.
  • Easy to Clean – The non-stick coating, pull out drip tray and curved corners of the cooking plates make wiping up oil and crumbs effortless.
  • Fast and Even Cooking – Get heat-up and even heat distribution in just 2 mins. Start cooking those steaks from 3 mins of switching the power on.
  • Patented AnyHeight Control Lever – Allows for multiple height adjustment and versatile top-plate lock. Beyond toasties, conveniently grill wraps, cook a full breakfast, sear thick steaks, make fritters and more.

To be in to WIN, tell us how you would make your version of a sanga using the new Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill. The 6-Slice Press & Grill can fit 6 sandwiches, and has a drip tray to catch unwanted oil from grilling.

  • The sanga that no one else wants but I love, so guarantee’s I’m left in peace for at least five minutes until I make all their boring cheese toasties: horseradish, tuna & pineapple, with the kicker, it gets eaten wrapped in a whole lettuce leaf, yummo.

  • The secret to the perfect toasted Sanga is mayonnaise on the outside before toasting with cheese, tomato and ham inside. Perfect!

  • Can’t go wrong with a cheese and red onion toasted Sanga!

  • I would make a simple yet lip smackingly delicious cheese toasted sanga and then cut it into soldier’s and dip them into a soup.

  • I’d make a toasted Sanga using bread, butter, havarti cheese, gherkins, pastrami and caramelised onion relish.

  • I would first grill some steak and onions on the Sunbeam Café Style 6-Slice Sandwich Press & Grill and then make a fresh Sanga using the steak and onions with some bread, butter, mustard, cheese and some rocket for a peppery fresh hit.

  • Bread, butter, salami, mozzarella cheese, baby spinach and Chipotle sauce.

  • Would make great waffles. Would make my usual recipe and serve with ice cream and topping or maple sauce

  • It could feed our family all at once! We could have our combinations of ham, cheese and tomato and all be happy.

  • Dark Rye spread with cranberry sauce, topped with shaved turkey and swiss cheese, into the press and boom my favourite in no time (shame the rest of household do not agree lol).

  • Dad has one he almost gave me but then realized it went well in his caravan. I’d make the kids favourite rockyroad pie into a pancake top and bottom rockyroad sanger filled with chocolate, apricot, raspberries, marshmallow and crushed cashews.

  • Salami, onion, tomato, slathered in butter and pressed to delicious perfection.

  • Banana, cooked bacon diced and tatsy cheese on a sanga. I love hot banana. I only commented yesterday that my old cheapy one of these presses seems to be losing it’s heat. Fingers crossed.

  • White tortilla, cover it with smashed avo, dollop on some hummus, place falafels on top then sprinkle on some shredded lettuce and halved baby tomatoes. Roll up and toast to perfection in the Sunbeam Cade Style 6-slice Sandwich Press & Grill!

  • 50g extra mature cheddar
    50g grated mozzarella
    4 slices sourdough bread
    100g drained kimchi
    25g softened unsalted butter

    The ultimate flavour bomb!

  • Pizza Sanga:
    Bread
    Butter
    Baby spinach
    Salami
    Mushrooms
    Roasted capsicum
    Black olives
    Mozzarella cheese

  • I’d do djon mustard, bechamel sauce, ham and tasty cheese and it’d be awesome!

  • I would caramelise some banana slices on the press first.
Then I’d take two slices of bread, Nutella, the banana and then sprinkle some crushed hazelnuts and toast the sandwich.
    Yum!

  • Wholegrain bread, mashed avocado, sun dried tomatoes, chicken flavoured with spices rocket #healthyanddelicious

  • Has to have ham and tomoato and avacoado and cheese of course as melted cheese rocks..
