Bring your herd to Taronga Zoo Sydney to celebrate Asian Elephants Tang Mo and Pak Boon before their great migration to South Australia. Win one of five Family Passes for two adults and two children to Taronga Zoo, with kids under four free!

Elephants have been a cherished part of Taronga Zoo Sydney’s history for over a century, starting with Asian Elephant Jessie, who was moved to Mosman on a barge across Sydney Harbour from Moore Park in 1916. Since 2006, Taronga’s Asian Elephant conservation and breeding program has welcomed six precious calves, educated and created beautiful memories for millions of visitors at both Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Taronga will continue the conservation program for this special species in the multi-generational breeding herd at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, where the seven-strong herd is expecting a birth at the end of 2025.

Join the ele-brations and create lasting memories with Taronga’s elephants before they pack their trunks at the end of March.

We have five family passes for two adults and two children, valued at $151 each, up for grabs. But hurry, this competition isn’t open for long!

  • We just love the zoo, the kids do too and recently they have loved the idea of visiting them all (within reason) we would live to make this dream a reality for them both

  • I’d love to take my family to Taronga Zoo to visit Tang Mo and Pak Boon before their big move! Elephants are such magnificent, intelligent creatures, and it would be a special experience for my daughter to see them up close and learn about their conservation. With her love for animals and adventure, this would be an unforgettable day out. Plus, with elephants holding a deep cultural significance in Indian heritage, it would be a meaningful way to connect with our roots while creating beautiful memories together.

  • They are magnificent giants that my daughter loves. She loves how they play with the water using their trunks, something she tries hard to replicate in the bath.

  • I remember riding on the elephants when i was a child (glad they stopped it) and I fell in love with one of my favourite animals at the zoo. I’m so,sad they won’t be there any more to show my grandchildren and great grandchildren

  • My three year old is Elephant mad! He sleeps with a stuffed “Elly” every night and getting to see a real life elephant would be a dream come true for him!

  • Kids havnt been to the zoo yet!
What better way to teach the little ones about animals and the elephants story!
