  • Trivial pursuit because it gets everyone involved and we all seem to learn something and have heaps of fun playing as teams

  • We love playing Monopoly Empire because it is a lot of fun and does’t take as long to play.

  • Scrabble.. totally love it. The kids version is fun and we get one child each to help but now their spelling better and reading more it’s even more fun. I even think it helped the eldest win his spelling bee.

  • Uno, it’s so much fun and we all roll up our sleeves and get right into it with our thinking caps on, ouzing motivation and determination, priceless fun.

  • It would have to be a tie between pictionary and charades. Good old fashioned fun that I’ll definitely be sharing with my son when he’s a bit bigger

  • at the moment our favourite family game is the match it game were you have a pack of cards that contains pairs of the same picture/ or character and its a bit like snap , and also uno .

  • We love playing all sorts of board and card games, but our favourite at the moment is Scrabble.

  • nothing beats playing connect 4 with my family….a good way for children to learn and so much fun when they can beat the parents

  • Hide and seek…although not a board games its something that we can all play together

  • We used to enjoy Nightmare because it has the DVD interaction and my kids find it hillarious how the Gatekeeper scares you. Keeps us laughing on the edge of our seats for ages

  • Our favourite family game is Snakes and Ladders. Besides being great fun and quality family time it fosters discipline in patience when you have to go down the snake. More than 4 can play at the same time.
