  • When I went back to work and was in the staff room, some.ldies were talking about their pregnant friends and another lady was due in 4 weeks. Then I looked down and I was lactating.

  • After weaning my first, and having my 2nd, my oldest son now almost 3, thought he would help my crying newborn by lifting his shirt and trying to get him to latch onto himself. So cute and funny!

  • I was trying so hard to get my son to latch ad I was having trouble and I squirted milk all over his face by accident. The look be gave me I wish I had of had a video of it. Was very funny

  • Sleep deprived and just learning to breastfeed one morning I woke up trying to feed the baby, embarrassing thing was that it was my dog who was sleeping there!

  • Opening my bra to feed Bub after a night shift and having milk squirt across the room with so much force and it just would not stop, it was too much for Bub to latch and drink

  • My child biting me and then smilng

  • When our first was born, neighbours stopping by and their large toddler trying to jump on the boob along side new baby for a feed too.

  • Forgetting I had cabbage leaves in my bra, blaming everyone (pets included) for farting, walking around sniffing this that and the other trying to find where the smell was coming from, and it was me all along haha

  • The most unexpected experience of breast feeding probably occurred when I forgot I was walking around my house with the breast pump doing it’s stuff before answering the door to the post man. Awkward!

  • I would constantly forget to reclip the straps of my feeding singlets and tops…leading to lots of interesting looks or until I noticed a cool breeze!

  • I couldn’t forget the day when I was breastfeeding my son and my husband was kissing, smooshing my son’s hand and feet and all of the sudden my son got up and my husband kissed his cheeks and spewed breastmilk on him. Haha. The breastmilk went straight on my husband’s mouth, he was gagging and he said it tasted very sweet. Since then, my husband will wait to kiss my son after breastfeeding and once he burped. I am always reminding him ‘Don’t poke the bear while breastfeeding’.

  • My 5 year old son causally walked past as I breast fed wearing one of my bras that he’d gone to the fridge and lined with cabbage leaves. Glad to see little man had mastered mastitis.

  • When i didnt realise i have leaked milk everywhere at a fancy dinner party and no one wanted to tell me

  • It was the look on my daughter’s face,
when I was breastfeeding my newborn baby.
It was like “why is your boobie in his mouth?” and “can I try that as well?”

  • It was in my early days of breastfeeding, I couldn’t get my son to latch on so they called in a male nurse to help me, which was a bit weird I thought and then they gave me stout to drink to get my milk going.

  • Finding half a cereal bar in my nursing bra, half tucked under one boob! Feral, but also funny!

  • The kid loves doing unexpected yoga when breastfeeding. Like, how are you comfortable?! Why do this now?!

  • When we were still in hospital after clay was born,my milk supply was so intense nurses would say it gave them goosebumps (in a good way)

  • Had a couple accidents where pressure and gravity tried to use passer buyer as target practice
