We’re giving one lucky mum the chance to WIN a $400 voucher plus $100 worth of Oates cleaning products.

Spring cleaning is not just a cliche…these few months are the perfect time to give your casa the deep clean it deserves (and probably desperately needs) #nojudgement

What we love about Oates is that they help us tackle Spring Cleaning without the overwhelm, because let’s face it…we’d rather be enjoying the sunshine at the park instead of scrubbing all day.

From clever cloths (we’re talking labeled cloths for different purposes) to spray mops for that quick whip-around, Oates have got you covered when it comes to cleaning.

If you’re the lucky winner of this comp, you’ll score $100 worth of Oates cleaning products PLUS a $400 voucher to spend however you’d like.

Do you want help going from messy to clean this Spring? Spill your best hack to make Spring Cleaning a breeze to WIN.

  • have a bunch of oates cleaning cloths on hand so you can always keep the dusting, wiping up and cleaning under control

  • Layers….do a quick 10 minutes in each room to start. It helps reduce the excess clutter and gives a better idea of what’s needed whilst making a positive difference overall. It’s quick easy and effective.

  • Preventing soap scum build-up on glass shower doors can be challenging. There’s a solution—literally. Apply a layer of rain repellent solution, the kind used for car windshields, to your clean glass shower doors. This protective layer repels water and soap scum, keeping your shower doors crystal clear with minimal effort.

  • Create homemade toilet cleaning bombs Mix baking soda, citric acid, and a few drops of your essential oil. Drop one in toilet bowl, let it fizz away stains. When you return, a quick swish with a toilet brush is all you need for a sparkling clean toilet.

  • try not to accumulate stuff over the xmas holidays make it all about experiences, less stuff equals less clutter and less to clean

  • Tidy in a flash, make it snappy,
Start small, don’t rush—keep it happy!
Toss, dust, then rinse and repeat,
    Springtime clean’s a simple feat!

  • Make a game of it with the kids, we have prizes for who cleans the fastest, who cleans the best, who cleans the funniest, best cleaning dancer etc (and prizes are nothing fancy just what they would be getting anyway without them realising lol).

  • Bribe the kids – I mean give incentives for the kids to complete a couple of chores before going on technology for the day. If everyone pitches in and does 1-2 jobs around the house it takes some of the pressure off and makes spring cleaning much easier.

  • I clean out one area at a time so I don’t become overwhelmed.

  • Use quality products and hot water.

  • Organisational tubs. They’re literally the best to help organise, clean and style! I love mine from kmart, $4 each is a steal. I use them for clothing in my closet, babies clothes, toys and products too. It helps make cleaning up a breeze!

  • I recently perchaced some clove based natural cleaner. Works well on bathroom ceiling, no nasty chemicals. I try to do one area a day, but my Spring cleaning starts in Autumn.

  • Grab garbage bags and start with one room at a time. If you haven’t used that item in a year get rid of it.

  • Spring cleaning hack: Set a timer for 15 minutes, then race around like a tornado. Everything’s “clean enough” when you’re done—plus, snacks are mandatory!

  • To create a spring-cleaning list and just do one thing every day, by the end of the month the list is easily completed, no stress, clean home.

  • FORGIVENESS! … for feeling overwhelmed. “How do you eat an elephant?” “One bite at a time”. Focus on progress not perfection. Tackle tasks in short bursts. Listen to podcasts. BEST hack for a ton of cobwebs on outside of windows? Lemon oil on broom’s bristles before removing webs. Goodbye spiders!

  • Get rid of the husband and kids!

  • Our best hack is actually clean as you go so you are not left with a huge task for spring cleaning time! And we schedule our robot to come on every two days, and watch the kids scramble to pick up all their toys off the floor!

  • Mum joked hire a cleaner, sadly that’s not possible. Instead, I my hack is to turn spring cleaning into a rejuvenating event with uplifting music, calming essential oils, and mindful breaks. It makes our home sparkle and creates a relaxed, and energized home! ????????✨

  • I wait until my children are asleep & then get stuck into cleaning. No interruptions & it’s peaceful. ????
My 10yr old special needs daughter wears incontinence aids & usually makes quite the mess on a daily/nightly basis.
