Hello!

499 Entries

We’re giving one lucky mum the chance to WIN a $400 voucher plus $100 worth of Oates cleaning products.

Spring cleaning is not just a cliche…these few months are the perfect time to give your casa the deep clean it deserves (and probably desperately needs) #nojudgement

What we love about Oates is that they help us tackle Spring Cleaning without the overwhelm, because let’s face it…we’d rather be enjoying the sunshine at the park instead of scrubbing all day.

From clever cloths (we’re talking labeled cloths for different purposes) to spray mops for that quick whip-around, Oates have got you covered when it comes to cleaning.

If you’re the lucky winner of this comp, you’ll score $100 worth of Oates cleaning products PLUS a $400 voucher to spend however you’d like.

Do you want help going from messy to clean this Spring? Spill your best hack to make Spring Cleaning a breeze to WIN.

  • Rent a separate house to keep the kids and pets at!

  • I like to just do a little bit when I can. I find that’s easier to get started when I know I don’t have to complete the whole house.

  • My spring-cleaning hack? Start with the top shelves and work your way down. Declutter as you go, set a timer, and use multi-purpose cleaners. Then blast your favourite playlist for extra motivation—cleaning becomes so much easier and even a little bit fun!

  • Use lots of wipes and washers.correct cleaner for the job

  • One tip that helps me get LOTS more done, and feel less burnt out is to set timers! I work for 45 minutes, get a 15 min break. If I feel I am getting lots done, I usually even treat myself to a mid-afternoon nap

  • When it comes to floors, you can’t beat the Oates Easy Spray Mop, It’s so easy to use and works brilliantly on all floor types. It wouldn’t be clean without it!

  • Kick off with a quick declutter—sort stuff into keep, donate, or chuck piles. Use a timer and hit each room in short bursts (like 15 mins). Grab some vinegar and a microfibre cloth for easy cleaning. Get the whole family on board, then finish up with a fresh-smelling room spray!

  • Do it often then it is less time consuming

  • Make your own spray and wipe and use anti static cleaning cloths. By making your own you can add your own fragrance to keep your house smelling super fresh and clean. Make sure to move any furniture where dust may accumulate

  • I wear an old, thick pair of socks while vacuuming, so that I can use my feet to wipe down the dust from the top of the skirting boards as I vacuum my way through the house.

  • Let the wife do it

  • Best hack would be to use a cleaner!!!

  • pay someone else to do it! seriously best $100 i spend a fortnight!

  • Start fro.m the ceiling down

  • I use vodka in a spray bottle on our mattresses, curtains, carpet and lounges. It leaves no residue or odour behind whilst removing any nasty odours

  • My days of wiping bottoms are now thankfully over… but I haven’t stopped buying baby wipes! Honestly, the water based ones are the BEST! Leaving zero residue, they are safe to use on any surface and make those quick ‘before the guests arrive’ cleanups an absolute breeze!

  • Been playing a bit with home made natural cleaners, some what better than the chemical filled. So much cheaper and do a great job as well. Still need some top cleaning cloths, brooms and mops to help.

  • Kids? Outside. Dinner? Outside. Husband? Outside. House inside shall remain clean always!

  • If it doesn’t make you feel good on the inside, get rid of it. Involve the family!

  • Tidy in bursts, not all at once,
    Set a timer, then take a break—just a hunch.
Declutter first, clear space to breathe,
Work with music, and you’ll achieve.
One room at a time, no need to rush,
Spring will feel fresh with a light touch.
