E-tax – the fastest way to get your tax refund!

If you think you’re due a refund this tax time, why not lodge online this year using e-tax, the Australian Tax Office’s free, fast and secure system.

You can use e-tax in just five easy steps and, if you’re due a refund, you should get it within 12 business days after lodging.

You will also save time as e-tax puts in some of the information the ATO has about you, directly into your tax return.

And, if your Mum and Dad are still lodging by paper, now’s your chance to do it differently.

Maybe you could convert them too!

E-tax is available from ato.gov.au from 1^st July and you must lodge by October 31^st.

We did thank we got a bill omg we are taxed so much. I was so disappointed this year asked to donate and did then they put Medicare level up so they double dipped it was so rude … It makes you lose faith in people

make sure you use the ATO one, as there is a company that called themselves e-tax, they CHARGE to do your taxes.

I always use e-tax, I used to use ITP when it cost $100 now its over $250 – ridiculous!

I have used e-tax for the past three years. Even with amendments I have always received my return in under the recommended two weeks! Amazing!

I love etax. So simple and the money gets deposited so much quicker! But the more complicated your life and finances get, the less simple it is to use and the more I need an accountant’s help.

WARNING! Just received an email from the ATO about being entitled to receiving an amount of $7830 AUD refund. found this odd as have not done a tax return yet (and didn’t even earn that much!) on talking to the ATO this is a SCAM! it asks you to click a link or in my case download a zipped folder. ATO have advised they do not send emails to update you on your refund or ask for credit card numbers, that is all done via post. the email it was sent from was notice@ato.gov.au
