Did you know that Tasmania has some of the cleanest air in the entire world? Take a deep breath in, relax and think about the possibilities that lie ahead when you take the time to unwind and explore Australia. Tasmania is one of the most popular romantic destinations in Australia and it’s easy to see why, from historic Port Arthur to the scenic Cradle Mountain, Tasmania is home to totally unique romantic experiences.

The World-Heritage listed Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park, home of the famous Cradle Mountain in Tasmania’s Western Wilderness is a must see on any romantic holiday. Said to have the cleanest air in the world, it is the perfect place to enjoy Tasmania’s pristine environment. Take one of Cradle Park’s famous tours such as the Explorer tour which will take you to the beautiful Dove Lake for a breathtaking view of Cradle Mountain. Visit chalets and learn about the flora and fauna of the area. Or take the ‘Night with the Animals’ tour in a 4WD coach for a more adventurous look at the marsupials that only come out at night, giving you a chance to glimpse the famous Tasmanian Devils in their natural habitat.

Why not enjoy the fresh air of the wilderness from the comfort of a luxurious cabin at a caravan holiday park? Perfect for a romantic getaway, many parks have spacious cabins with gorgeous modern décor, private balconies, state of the art kitchens, and other to-die-for features such as surround sound media centres and spa baths. From absolute beachfront cabins, to mountain escapes there is no better place for a couple to enjoy some quiet alone time.

You and your partner can also experience some of Australia’s biggest thrills and chills on Tasmania’s wild Franklin River. With rapids with names like Thunderush and the Churn, white water rafting on the Franklin River is guaranteed to be a wild ride.

The very best way to experience all that Tasmania has to offer is staying in a caravan holiday park, it’s the best way to be close to nature while also just stone’s throw away from some amazing tourist attractions. There are so many natural wonders to see in Tasmania, from lush farmlands, wild rivers, and mountain wilderness, it’s no wonder Tassie is known as the nature state!

  • My husband and I together with our 7 & 9 year old. Spent our first holiday in tassie for the 2 weeks holiday. We are still getting over the sensational sights, places they have. We stayed in this amazing near new home 28 squares in Austin ferry north Hobart. The owners are really friendly they accommodate for the entire family. We had a car ( need a GPS to get around). The air is clean amazing mountain views driving around tassie. In particular in winter driving into city of Hobart you see the mountain with snow on it. Stunning. There is Richomond which has the oldest bridge in Tassie built by the convicts speechless, the bakery in Richmond mouth watering.. The stunning surreal views are breath taking. Driving to port Arthur words can not describe the views. Being in port Arthur made my husband and I our hair on the back of our necks stand up. You need 2 whole days to explore it truly amazing. I can go on for hours. Would love too see Tasmania in summer when the fresh fruit picking is avail
