Hello!

My son has been dribbling and putting his fist in his mouth now for about 2 weeks. Last night he wouldn’t settle at all until I gave him some panadol. It then only took another hour to get him off to sleep.
This morning there is a nice white tooth just under the gum waiting to cut through.
My last son teethed from 3 months on and loved bonjella but I think we relied on it too much.
I’m looking for other ideas other than amber teething necklaces.

  • I had a teething ring you could freeze, gave lots of icy poles, teething gel and sometimes panadol.

  • Lots of cuddles and Panadol! Also, bonjella, and a facewasher that is cold, they can suck on Good luck, it is a hard time x

  • Have you tried a teething ring you can freeze or chill? I had these for my littlies .I don’t know whether they make these now but they worked a treat. They say for the amber necklaces to be really effective you would have to use a necklace with a lot more amber on it that what they manufacture. A huge amount in fact according to scientists!

  • Teething ring panadol and bonjella. Think to yourself how much it hurts when you have a tooth ache,

  • Cold teething toys are great as are rusks that they can just chomp down on to relieve some of the pressure. Good luck.

  • I found putting teething rings in the freezer were really good. The cold helped to numb the area.

  • A wet face washer and put it in the freezer and give it to bubbly to chew on

  • there are some good comments here

  • maybe a toy he can chew on

  • wet face washer put in the freezer until frozen and let them chew on it. My little one love it

  • Has any of the advice below helped?

  • cool soothers, teething ring, rusks, bonjella and panadol. At 11 weeks he may not cope well with pain so you may have to give him bonjella. good luck.

  • One of those fresh food feeders with ice chips in it? A frozen faced washer?

  • anything cold helps. my second son had teeth at 10weeks. we game him cooled soothers and teething rings.

  • these are some good suggestions :)

  • I always ask at the chemist as they have some good suggestions but frozen teething rings and toys worked really well with ours.

  • Some really good suggestions below.

  • i hope its gotten better

  • Hope you found something to help whilst teething.

  • I love the hylands teething tablets too! it is a bit hard too because for teething pain nurofen kicks panadols butt, but cant be taken before 3 months. hope things have gotten easier and the little toothy has cut
