I was really surprised by how much my local IGA apart from the normal groceries. I loved the hot food section, which would be handy for an easy dinner. They also had a great range of fresh flowers and heaps of pre-packaged sweets and chocolates. I thought these were such a cute idea and would be perfect for a last minute gift. I got some chocolate pretzels to try! I’ll definitely be looking at these sections again next time.

I haven’t done a shop at IGA for yonks, so on my adventure to IGA I was pleasantly surprised.
Everything that I’ve seen on TikTok and socials of brand collabs and special treats, I could find at IGA.
Not only that, heaps of products I’ve never seen before like the hot foldys in the pic!
The sushi section was my favourite part, it was so fresh and heaps of yummy choices that I’ll have to go back and keep trying. I ended up eating a few options and they were delicious.
I’m so pleased that you can find everything you need for your basic pantry and more. Giving heaps of variety for what you can have for tea!

I loved having the chance to discover more at IGA! I went in expecting to grab a few basics, but ended up finding so much more. I picked up some great quality steaks that are just as good as any butcher, stocked up on hayfever medication ready for the season ahead, grabbed a Magic Eraser, and even found a few tasty snacks and drinks I hadn’t tried before.
What really surprised me was how much they had in one place and the variety of prices for every budget. It made shopping quick and easy, and the staff topped off a great experience by providing such friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the essentials, but to see what else I can discover!

Omg from the moment you step in store the freshness just hits you, from the beautiful display of fresh salads and fruit to the pre packed salads, veggie platters and than you find fresh Aussie meats, cheeses and artisan crackers it was very impressive. I was able to pick up the perfect array of produce to put together a beautiful platters for our friend afternoon playing board games but I cant wait to go back to IGA to try more of their beautiful range.

I love our local IGA, it has been a source of many interesting discoveries that then become household staples. From the different marinaded meats available in the meat department to these great sauces, there’s always something new to find. I stumbled across Gold Gourmet Foods sauces in the deli fridge section a few weeks ago. What started out as a simple mayonnaise, the range quickly expanded. I’m always finding a new flavour in this range. Not only is the range expanding but the flavours are top notch and high quality. Nearly every sauce at home has been replaced by Gold Gourmet Foods sauces. The Hollandaise is close to what you find in a cafe, making Eggs Benny easy to make at home. After a quick taste test when I walked in the door, my favourite is the Chipotle Mayo with the Garlic Aioli coming in at a very close second, I love that they are a 500ml bottle, it’s such good value for money. I love a good Caesar salad so their Caesar dressing is next on my to try list

I love that all IGAs are unique and different! You know you’re always going to have a different variety of products to peruse and new ranges to try. Each store is an experience and it’s always worth supporting our local businesses! We love these ‘Mario’s pastizzi’ we find at our local and they keep us coming back for more!

Popped into my local IGA for a quick grocery run and was super impressed. I managed to get this entire haul for under $60!. Picked up everything from toddler nappies and baby bottles to fresh bread, iced cinnamon treats and my favourite Shin Ramyun Black noodles. The store team were really friendly making the visit even better. Love that I can grab everyday essentials, budget friendly Black & Gold staples, and speciality goodies all in one place!

So many beautiful food options from local and all over the world that you can't get anywhere else. For this challenge we got a local brie cheese, pies, spanikopita, in house baked goods and deli meat. We cant find these elsewhere and are blown away at the value!

Today I headed I into my local IGA to pick up somethings for dinner. What I love about my IGA is that as soon as you walk in they have different items for sale depending on time of year. At the moment they have some great winter products including mugs, beanies, hand warmers etc. so great to help keep you warm and cozy. As I headed down all the isle something that stood out to me was how great everything was presented. Shelves were stocked and full of great specials and everything was neat and tidy. Today I found in the fridge section that they are stocking a juice from the apple farm near by, it doesn’t get much more local than that! I also picked up some mince from the meat section, one thing I love about IGA is their meat is always so fresh and full of flavour. I then stopped by the deli to pick up some fresh salad to go along with tomorrow nights dinner. IGA really has something for everyone and it’s always a good feeling knowing you’re supporting Australian farmers.

The little local IGA at tugun is constantly improving and changing the store to improve what is being offered. We live heading down and grabbing something quick and easy from the deli section. The have really good range of pre cooked curries and salads and sandwiches to chose from. Fruit and veg section is improved as well.

We love IGA! There’s always new products to discover at IGA that Coles and Woolworths don’t offer. I love that our local has a deli and a huge range of fresh produce to chose from as well as interesting new foods for us to always try. My family and I made the trip to IGA and did some wondering around and ended up finding many new drink and snack options so we turned it into a movie night! We were also surprised by all the advertising and promotional items that were on display, I quite enjoyed the added bonus to shopping. My favourite snack would have been either the chocolate mousse they make or the twisties ZigZag bag, I know you can get them at some normal shops but you have always been able to get a bag at IGA and that’s why I love shopping with them!! We shared snacks with both my family and my partners. His mum agreed that the mouse was amazing and her favourite drink was the River Port creamy soda and snack was the chocolate mousse too! My partner couldn’t pass up the mucho mango Arizona iced tea and the strawberry aero chocolate. We found that although some things they had were in other stores no one had as much variety as IGA did!
I could go on for days about how amazing this shop was dedicating it to looking for something new and such. But the top it all off was how many deals were on as well and how cheap things were!! Definitely will continue to shop with IGA and highly recommend it to family and friends whenever asked.

I love my local IGA as they have all the known brands we all love, but they also have the smaller hidden gems.
We went in today to pick up a few pantry and fridge top ups to get us through the weekend - first thing I noticed was the produce was full and fresh, the staff were restocking the shelves and there was lots of special!
Today's fav was the Zoosh dip range that will be coming out as soon as the baby goes to bed. (I can only find Zoosh at IGA)
Picked up the essentials, plus some snacks - but the real winner was dog food being over half price!
Definitely coming back.

I recently discovered IGA has a range of international sweet and savoury food. They have lots of Italian, Maltese, Macedonian foods which I normally struggle to find elsewhere.
They have pretty much everything from a bakery, meat to fresh fruit and vegetables plus pet food and baby supplies.
If your ever forgetting something you can guarantee to stop in a they’ll have it.

The freshness of the produce is great at my local IGA in Darch WA. Everything is attractively displayed and easy to navigate. The service is always good - plenty of manned checkouts and no self service, I love the personal touch. They stock most of the brands and products that the major chains sell, but I love how they stock artisan products. Their meat is sourced locally and they have a fantastic range of fresh non commercial juices. I shop there at least once and week and I nearly always see something I’ve never seen before.

I rarely shop at iga, I lean more towards the big two, so going into this I had no idea what they stocked really. But I was blown away by the variety. They have so much good stock! We had done our big shop already so decided to just have a bit of fun, and try out some new things, and pf course some favourites (proper crisps are the best chips around.) I was so impressed by their sushi station! And the fact that there was someone there making it fresh. And their cake section looked delicious. I was so impressed by all their stock and their wonderful customer service I will definitely be adding them into my rotation of weekly shops.

Every time I walk through the doors at Ashcrofts IGA plus liquor in Orange it looks like Grand opening day, the store is immaculate, the shelves are stocked, the fruit and veg is fresh, the staff look 200% and couldn’t be friendlier and more helpful if they tried!
I love shopping at Ashcrofts and finding local products and how they support local! Last week our child’s school was donated apples for wellness week, this week there’s a local small business with a store set up for ‘bake a wish’ fundraiser!
But my favourite thing about Ashcrofts is their delicious baked goods and sweets- yum!
This shop I came across the baby boo nappies at an amazing price! I also got an absolute bargain on the tooshies nappies that were over 60% off! Needless to say I stocked up on those! Thanks MoN and Ashcrofts, your the best!

it has been a minute since i have stepped foot in an iga store. I must say i was surprised at the ranges stocked here and how neat and tidy everything was stocked at this store. there are some unique brands especially from all around the world eg colombian drinks that I had never seen anywhere!

I honestly didn’t expect to find such a great selection of Italian food. We ended up coming home with almond cakes, Tulipani, an assortment of Italian biscuits and panettone, and everything was so delicious. There was so much to choose from that I kept finding another thing to put in the trolley! I love discovering little treats like this while doing the weekly shop, especially when they taste like something you’d normally go out of your way to find. The Italian range was definitely my favourite find and I’ll be going back for more.

I was really surprised by how much my local IGA had beyond the usual grocery shop. They had a great range of everyday products, as well as a really impressive frozen section with plenty of options for an easy dinner. I also loved browsing their selection of dinnerware and specialty cooking ingredients, with lots of things I wouldn’t normally expect to find at a supermarket. My $60 IGA voucher went surprisingly far, especially when stocking up on great-value pantry staples that this tired working mum genuinely needed. I was impressed by the range and found plenty of everyday essentials, plus a fantastic chocolate sale that was perfect for a sneaky afternoon treat!

I’ve been using the IGA Rewards app for a while now and it has made my weekly shopping so much easier. The interface is very straightforward and simple to navigate. I love how quickly I can browse the weekly specials and activate my rewards before heading into the store. I am lucky enough to have 4 IGA stores within 15 minutes of me, one of these stands outs from the others. They seem to really focus on balancing between health a convenience whilst others nearby are quite basic and kind of offer the bare minimum. Today I got a healthy roast lunch for $12 (roast veges and lamb shank) cheaper than a Maccas meal and WAY healthier. I also managed to pick up some bargains for the kids lunches and unique brands a lot of other stores don’t sell. I truly forget how good some IGA stores really are and after todays visit will absolutely head to this store when picking up the kids on those nights I don’t want to cook but also don’t want to feed the fam fast food

I actually had such a great time looking around the Ritchies IGA in Rowville. It's a massive store and I was so impressed with the sushi bar and gourmet cake section. There were so many foods and brands I hadn't seen before and most of them were really great value. Look at the giant popcorn bag in the picture! 100% I'm going to shop there more often, I thought it would be much more expensive than Woolworths and Coles but most things were very similar which was an awesome surprise. Some things were more expensive but I just made sure not to buy them, I always shop around for the cheapest price anyway. Overall, I had a great time and was really impressed with how spacious and expansive the store and it's range are.

I have been into IGA singleton a few times and the most recommended item I think is the fresh cinema popcorn. I love the amount you get without paying the cinema price.
We were heading down to Sydney for my son’s surgery so we used this time to see what we could get for the road as buying from the servos are very expensive. We got triple as much compared to buying from the servo. The store was clean, well set out and what really stood out to me while shopping was one of the workers noticed me looking at the up and goes deciding on which ones I should buy, and she acknowledged that and actually said these are sale, let me find the ticket for you. I was then able to get double the amount for the original price. I scored a few necessary things from the clearance section as well. I always think that IGA is much more expensive but when I actually took the time to find the specials and deal, I was surprised at how much I could buy. I will definitely be back for some grocery shopping and car trip snacks.

“My Floor Has Never Been So Clean”: The Mop That’s Winning Over Mums
Mopping isn’t exactly the chore most of us look forward to, but like most mums, for Katrina Macilroy, it’s unavoidable.
With three teenagers, a husband, a dog, two cats and timber flooring throughout most of her home, there’s plenty to keep her mop busy.
“I thought the toddler stage was hard, but teenagers take it to a whole other level,” Katrina told Mouths of Mums.
She describes herself as a ‘full-time Uber driver’ for her three kids, but when she’s home, she may as well be a full-time cleaner.
Her husband is a concreter, the family has plenty of sand coming inside and, with teenagers touching everything, the floors quickly show the evidence of a full family life.
“I have to mop like every second day because the floor gets marks,” she said.

“I didn’t have high hopes for it to start with, because I’ve used spin mops before and I’d been disappointed,” she admitted.

For Katrina, who regularly finds herself cleaning up after a busy family, these little details made a surprisingly big difference. She also loved the triangular mop head, particularly when it came to getting into the corners and edges that her previous mop struggled with.
“The triangle design makes it easy to get into all the little corners,” she says.
But ultimately, the big question was whether it actually cleaned her floors. Katrina’s answer was an enthusiastic yes.
“My floor has never been so clean,” she says.
Katrina was also surprised by how light and manoeuvrable the mop felt, because at just 4’11”, she says mopping can sometimes be an uncomfortable job.
“I’m not a tall person, so trying to mop is always just a horrible experience.”

The best place to shop
So many beautiful food options from local and all over the world that you can't get anywhere else. For this challenge we got a local brie cheese, pies, spanikopita, in house baked goods and deli meat. We cant find these elsewhere and are blown away at the value!

Amazing variety and value
I could go on for days about how amazing this shop was dedicating it to looking for something new and such. But the top it all off was how many deals were on as well and how cheap things were!! Definitely will continue to shop with IGA and highly recommend it to family and friends whenever asked.

IGA great for the mid week grocery top up
We went in today to pick up a few pantry and fridge top ups to get us through the weekend - first thing I noticed was the produce was full and fresh, the staff were restocking the shelves and there was lots of special!
Today's fav was the Zoosh dip range that will be coming out as soon as the baby goes to bed. (I can only find Zoosh at IGA)
Picked up the essentials, plus some snacks - but the real winner was dog food being over half price!
Definitely coming back.

Loved the international sweets and savoury food
They have pretty much everything from a bakery, meat to fresh fruit and vegetables plus pet food and baby supplies.
If your ever forgetting something you can guarantee to stop in a they’ll have it.

Every day is like grand opening day
I love shopping at Ashcrofts and finding local products and how they support local! Last week our child’s school was donated apples for wellness week, this week there’s a local small business with a store set up for ‘bake a wish’ fundraiser!
But my favourite thing about Ashcrofts is their delicious baked goods and sweets- yum!
This shop I came across the baby boo nappies at an amazing price! I also got an absolute bargain on the tooshies nappies that were over 60% off! Needless to say I stocked up on those! Thanks MoN and Ashcrofts, your the best!

Small Brands, Local Favourites & So Much More
Another big win is that they stock rolls from my local bakery. It makes life so much easier because I can pick up my regular groceries and fresh bakery rolls in the same trip!
The deli range is also fantastic and perfect for those busy midweek nights when I need something quick and easy for dinner. There’s plenty of variety, so I can put together a delicious meal without spending ages preparing everything.
The staff are always happy to help

Great range and lunch!
I was also pleasantly surprised by the hot food and sushi selection, making it easy to grab something delicious for lunch while I shopped. The value, variety and unexpected finds made my visit even better than expected. IGA definitely offers a unique local shopping experience, with something for every need.

More bang for your buck
We were heading down to Sydney for my son’s surgery so we used this time to see what we could get for the road as buying from the servos are very expensive. We got triple as much compared to buying from the servo. The store was clean, well set out and what really stood out to me while shopping was one of the workers noticed me looking at the up and goes deciding on which ones I should buy, and she acknowledged that and actually said these are sale, let me find the ticket for you. I was then able to get double the amount for the original price. I scored a few necessary things from the clearance section as well. I always think that IGA is much more expensive but when I actually took the time to find the specials and deal, I was surprised at how much I could buy. I will definitely be back for some grocery shopping and car trip snacks.
