An interesting question. I wonder how you broke this circle !

I note this was posted a couple of years ago and I hope all is well with your son.

I am in the same position. It can get very tiring. I have to give a bottle before bed and he will only sleep with me and hubby. He always wakes screaming and most times cannot be consoled. Hes gone off food he will only snack and gone off his favs like pasta and chicken breast. All i do is cook different things all day not sure what to do.

At 14 months they really are still only into finger food usually and if not eating enough a bottle is probably needed during the night because they are hungry. Maybe try a bottle before bed and keep it to finger foods. It may also be time to try some new foods as your child could be getting board with the old toast and porridge?!

Hope he get better now and you can talk to your local baby clinic about that. They can give you great advice.

I was thinking perhaps he was so restless because he could be teething.

To put your mind at ease take him to the doctor
