Hello!

I’ve always enjoyed getting older, I want to celebrate myself this year without having to put tonnes of effort in. Looking for some ideas!

  • I simply had a party in the garden for my 50st and invited friends and loved ones.

  • Some hotels in the city have really fancy high teas – and they cost between $50-$100 (depending on where they are and if you want a glass of champers with your high tea). You don’t have to prepare or clean up – everyone loves going to these high teas and they are pretty affordable! It’s a special way to celebrate without having to organise a big party or costing you lots of money!

  • Have a themed pot luck. Pick a decade and ask everyone to bring a dish from that decade and dress in costume. Ask one person to co-ordinate so there are no double ups..

  • What do you love?and how much are you happy to spend… If you like the big party sort of thing – maybe drop some hints to a friend/partner about a surprise party lol ( then you don’t have to do anything except look surprised haha) or if you prefer some quiet pampering a day spa experience or maybe a dinner cruise with friends. Adrenalin has some great experience ideas if you are stuck and want to do something a little different.

  • An escape room is something different, dinner after.

  • What about an all bells & whistles day spa treat for yourself?

  • Depends what you love doing, like, if you love photography – make a special day of it. If you love spa’s and or manicure or even massage, book in and enjoy. If it was me, I’d head to the zoo, just me and my camera and take the day to enjoy.

  • I just celebrated my 31st I went full low key coffee and a cake was the best party ever no fuss and no mess

  • Full pamper package, champagne breakfast, shopping spree, coffee dates with friends. pick 2 or 3 friends you would like to see and spend the day with them.

  • Hire a car for the day drive to the Hunter Valley or Wine Districts or Mountains or Beachy Suburbs. A open top classic car would be a fun day out! Or rent a private boat or yacht sail around Sydney Harbour or a Helicopter Ride up and down the coast-line in your state. Take the day and learn how to Jet Ski and have lots of fun! If you have a whole weekend hire a houseboat!

  • Have yourself a spa day, full pamper package followed by dinner with your closest friends and family

  • I set myself a goal I didnt think I could do, mine was run a 10km, then just had close friends over for a bbq afterwards, cake and some drinks. Nothing too crazy but just a nice celebration for myself instead of me always organizing kids parties. I did also want to do a 30th birthday cake smash shoot but I didn’t end up doing it haha I think an experience is a great idea though something you won’t forget quickly.

  • Go skydiving or bungee jumping! Loads of fun, and a big memory to have.

  • Maybe you could just have a barbie with close friends and family. If you have someone who wants to take over, get them to organise it all for you like a baby shower.
If you don’t want people over maybe you can treat yourself to a mini retreat somewhere in Australia like go camper vanning or even something like a day spa just to relax and unwind.

  • Maybe some extreme activity like sky flying or bridge climbing.

  • Well that depends on if you want to spend the money having people over or just having that money spent on yourself. I got a red balloon experience for me and just enjoyed with my bestie :)

  • Depends if they are into sport or follow a team you could buy tops or jumpers with the colours get them a membership and I’m sure they wouldn’t forget that.
