Hello!

I am looking at for somewhere that myself and my little one can meet other mother and children his age (2). I live in Seaford. I find I am struggling trying to make connections with other mothers in my area and as much as I love my little one and my husband, I feel I need some kind of interaction with other parents. I have looked into playgroups in my area but they are quite older then my little boy. Any suggestions for ways to meet other mums would be great. Thanks

  • I think you need to keep looking! I know there are mother and baby groups all over the place, catering to all ages of kids. I hope you finally found one

  • There would have to be a playgroup that caters for littlies as well? Have you looked for mothers groups? Childcare? Check out your local council, they might have some suggestions

  • Local library story time sessions are a great way to meet other mothers.

  • Speak to your Maternal Health Nurse about any Mother’s or New Parent groups around your area, they usually have a good knowledge of these things.
Also the local library for story time and rhyme time.

  • you could try gymbaroo with your toddler. or some community centres run walking groups. or join your local toy liberary. Or try your local music classes for toddlers .
