Hello!

I use my paper diary for everything; appointments for everyone in the house, shopping lists, to-do-lists, thoughts and feelings, I cut out and glue stuff into my diary, I paper clip printed out budgets – it has everything in it! I am thinking of moving to digital – but is there one app that I can keep everything in? I don’t want to be using 4 or 5 apps – or more importantly 4 or 5 apps that don’t talk to each other… Any suggestions or recommendations? TIA.

  • i use keep notes and they are amazing

  • I would stick to the paper one. I prefer the old fashion style of doing some things

  • i use the app day one for noting down things, you can use it as a note and add pictures etc. But google calender might be better if you want to set a reminder/ events.

  • Following to see if anyone has any ideas as I am still using paper as I can not find something to work

  • Good question; following the answers.

  • that memo app for iphone. browse your phone’s store and have a look. even if you don’t find somethin that suits your needs this week, keep and eye out for next week.

  • Will keep an eye on this thread… Have been looking for months for the perfect family planner, but there doesn’t seem to be anything that has exactly what I’m after. I use a personalised wall calendar & have just found an awesome website (by accident) called ‘personal planners’ or similar where you can customise hard copy planners to suit your needs. Look forward to reading others suggestions though….

  • I just use Google Calendar – it syncs to my phone & my computer, both at home & at work.
You can make different coloured calendars for your kids ie eldest is purple, middle is green, youngest is yellow and one each for yourself and your husband.
I use my diary ALL THE TIME & have for quite a few years & think this is FAR more efficient than a paper diary. My extended family all have one that we have synced together. Some of our calendar are ‘public’ so that my in-laws can see where we have something planned but some are FYEO so that we can put in things that don’t necessarily relate. It helps when planning family events etc.
    Good luck!!

  • Here are a few for you to look at, I’m sure there are plenty more around and new to the market.
