I’ve tried a few brands and always go back to Tontine. I use the firm pillows because I’m mostly a side sleeper. I believe they are pre-treated so as not to aggravate allergies.

I only trust Tontine and never bought any other brands in my life . They always last a very long time .

The bambillo! It’s made of bamboo. It moulds to you head, neck and shoulders. Reducing strain overnight. They’re a bit expensive than normal pillows, but it’s like sleeping on a cloud.

Pillowtalk. You’ll find what you need. It’s hard to recommend a specific pillow without knowing if you are a side, back or tummy sleeper. Considering pilows need to be replaced every 6 months I advise not spending too much.

The best pillow I have ever had was a memory foam pillow from Lorraine Lea Linen.

I have trialled a few different types of pillows. The most expensive ones were the most uncomfortable! Tontine has been the best so far; very comfortable.

I recently saw something about pillows on a current affair program, and they said that expensive doesn’t always mean better so bought some cheap Tontine pillows and they’ve been great. Firm for hubby and I and softer for the kids. I have previously had a moulded (very firm) pillow I was given and that was great too.

I bought a couple of Target sideways pillows. I figured if I didn’t like them I would pull them apart and use the filling as toy filling. I had a really good look at it and I am suspicious that it was made by Tontine anyway. What’s more if I didn’t like it it was cheaper than packs of toy filling too. It has to be by far the best pillow I have ever had.

I am fussy about pillows, I had a smallish buck wheat pillow for many years, it went with me everywhere for about 14 years, I had so many outer covers sewn on as the wheat discolors the fabric. It was about 45 cm square. So easily fit into my carry on luggage. It cose me about $10:00 in a discount store. I took it to the UK, Europe, half way around Australia and across USA several times, I accidentally left it in an airport lounge and when I went back it had been disposed of. After that I bought an inexpensive side sleeper pillow and I love it. It comes with me everywhere. The ordinary elbow pillow covers fit it just fine. In case I misplace I have a couple of spares.

Jumbuck is excellent! Very expensive but to sleep in heavenly you need jumbuck 🙂
