  • I make spring rolls with salmon, potatoes and spring onions. It’s mashed potato and spring onions mixed with the salmon and put onto spring roll wrappers from the supermarket. Very simple but a little time consuming and you fry them until golden brown. Really delicious.

  • I hate the smell too.but grew up with delicious salmon patties.1 large tin pink salmon 3 or 4 large potatoes mashed, cook some chopped carrots ,peas, capsicum, cooked garlic& onion, corn& parsley, mix in with mashed potato ,roll into balls, dip into egg/water roll in breadcrumbs, brown each side, serve with lemon, yum.

  • The barbecued salmon parcel sounds great!

  • If he doesn’t like something, why try and force him to eat it?
You can buy a pack of 2 salmon fillets, open it, bag them separately and place them in the freezer for you to eat for lunches.
However, I love to eat salmon with a cous cous salad, or with green beans and sweet potato chips. You could marinate the fillets in a Asian flavour of your choice and serve with an Asian crunchy noodle salad.

  • Look on recipes and there is a barbecued salmon parcel that looks delicious!

  • In my house everyone loves this recipe! https://mouthsofmums.com.au/recipe/salmon-and-green-beans/ You could try and hopefully your husband agrees! :-)
