You can make a nappy cake for $20 and buy a toy for $10. Good old YouTube can show you what to do. Super easy.

It depends on your budget and how close you are to the person. I think $30 is reasonable and you can get so much these days at Kmart/BigW etc

With so many bargains to be had at Kmart and Big W it’s easy to fill a basket with gifts that look lovely but won’t cost you too much. You can get some jumpsuits for $6, a little teddy bear for under $10. I would say you could buy a really lovely gift for around $30.

I have never attended any baby or wedding showers at all in my lifetime , so I would say spend as if you would buy a gift after the birth . I don’t think there is an “amount ” but a appropriate present for the baby or mother . It could be a cute clothing , blanket, a basket of cute goodies , baby towel etc. Nowadays there is just too much to choose from . Have a great time .
