With 2 kids with additional needs, holidays aren’t really holidays for me, although I like not having to deal with the morning rush for a bit.

My eldest starts kindergarten in January and although I know he needs the stimulation, I’m dreading it, his my little man and is growing up too quick.

Yes and no. I love my kids but my kids need the routine so do I and they like school. They get bored at home even when the holidays are full of activities. They also never stop eating. School is great for the kids. My little one just started kindy I miss her like crazy but she loves school and it gives me time to clean and do the things I need to do. Being a single mum we all need a break from each other.

On the upside – the countdown is on for the next holidays mums! 🙂

Always a time of mixed emotion. I miss them terribly but am happy they are thriving at school

I miss the mother like crazy, but I’m happy they’re off doing what they need to do. I also enjoy the me time

I do miss them – but happy that they are learning. We treasure all of our time together.

I’m always happy when holiday starts and I’m always happy when holiday finishes 🙂
