Hello!

Looking for a monitor, ideally having access through mobile phone. I have looked at the Eufy baby monitor with sock. As bub has had heart op and was underweight at birth I was thinking that the sock to monitor heart rate etc would be a good feature. Are there any others that offer access through a smart phone?

  • I don’t remember what brand we used, but I have to say good sound is probably of most importance – you’re not going to be looking at the screen as you sleep, for example.

  • I hope you get the one that is right for you after your bub’s operation. I haven’t used one for a few years now but I too have heard good things about Eufy.

  • We’ve just bought the eufy and love it!

  • Hey! The Eufy baby monitor with the sock sounds like a solid choice, especially for keeping track of heart rate and other vitals. If you’re open to other options, you could also check out the Owlet Smart Sock (which does similar monitoring) or the Nanit Pro Camera that tracks sleep and breathing with a wearable band. Another one to consider is the Miku Pro Smart Baby Monitor, which monitors breathing without any wearables. All of these let you monitor through an app on your phone, so you can keep an eye on bub anytime!

  • I’ve heard positive stories of the Owlet smart sock.
The award-winning Smart Sock tracks the most important indicators of your baby’s well-being so while they rest easy, you can, too.
Use the baby sock monitor to track your child’s heart rate, oxygen level, and sleep trends from the first night you bring them home to their first day of school, and enjoy peace of mind through every milestone. View your child’s readings in real time with the free Owlet App and receive notifications if readings leave preset zones, so you know when your child really needs you.

  • I had an ocicom baby monitor and it was fantastic. It had everything i needed and wanted in a baby monitor. There are so many types available, it is important to do your research before buying one as they are a bit expensive for you not to like it. I hope you find one that is right for you and your family :)

  • My SIL bought an Owlet sock for her nephew and their parents love it, worth the price. They also have a pack that includes a camera and sock that are phone accessible. It’s definitely the premium option but worth it for the peace of mind. I’ve heard really good things about the Omicrom HD smart camera. That it has great visuals and the camera pans and tilts really well.
I use a Peekyboo monitor that isn’t wifi enabled but is excellent, very clear visuals and audio.
Hope you’re both doing really well.
