Hello!

Would love some ideas on what type of baby shower prizes I can give? Something small, novelty and fun.

  • I love the soap idea! That is SO clever I never would have thought of that!

  • There are lots of places around that specialise in selling different little chocolates, maybe you could find one that make chocolate babies and you could make up ‘favours’ for the prizes in nice little bassinets or cute boxes.
Don’t do mugs- everyone seems to think they are the perfect small gift but you end up with a million of them that you won’t use.
I actually went to a baby shower that gave away some jelly makers as prizes and thought that was pretty cool, although I must say I’ve only used it once.
I think chocolates are best because at least then you can eat them or even take them home for your kids.

  • I love the idea of soap with from my shower to yours, on it super clever but very simple.

  • Lots of awesome and cool ideas thanks heaps

  • Love the rubber duckie idea!

  • You can get some fun, cheap novelty things on eBay. Maybe some baby knick knacks, some items for the home or I like the idea of a photo frame where they can put a picture of the baby in.

  • I think maybe a small empty photo frame with a little message saying that it can be filled with a gorgeous baby photo after your little bundle of joy arrives? :) That way it keeps with the baby theme, is easy and inexpensive and is also practical.

  • I had a mix of candles which looked great and were cheap from kmart. I also gave out chocolates and body lotions. I do like the idea of possibly giving childs toys (rubber ducky) to add a bit of fun into it

  • Chocolates or some nice little tubes of hand lotion.

  • yeah candles are great but it is your shower lol.

  • We’ve never had prizes at any I’ve been to. it as bad as giving a gift to the guests of a Kid’s birthday party.

  • For my baby shower we organised small candles and chocolates. Just make sure you get enough as we almost ran out as we had multiple winners!

  • We gave out bath products, rubber duckies, novelty mugs & a baby doll because half the guests didn’t have kids :)

  • Candles, body wash/lotion, nail polish, nail buffer, lip gloss, bubble bath, wine, soap.

  • Aprilb1 – your soap idea is very cute.

  • Small boxes of tea, or hand made chocolates

  • Or say no prizes and save some time in the organisation?

  • I just bought little soaps and printed a tag that said ‘from my shower to yours’ or you could use stickers like the one in the photo

  • A big tub full of lucky dip prizes is always fun and then people get to choose.

  • I would suggest something beauty related nail polish, bath salts, nice smelling skin cream, hair products etc. Or a little hamper with nibbles and a non alocholic bottle a grape juice( incase the winner is pregnant). Or some puzzle books, with a pencil and eraser.
