  • I usually wash in what I was my clothes in which is for sensitive skin and I always add some disinfectant in it. Then I clean the washing machine after to get rid of dog hair by doing a rinse with nothing in it.

  • My biggest tip…..DO NOT put through your washing machine! Even if you think there’s not much hair because you can’t see it, it’s an optical illusion. Believe me, it all comes out in your machine and appears on clothes for weeks to come

  • wool mix – awesome

  • It is a tricky job and I never seem to get rid of all the hairs!

  • Such a horrible job! I buy the beds with water proof covers, then put soft covers on top. Makes things so much easier to remove and clean. I try to have lots of bedding (soft covers) so I can hang the dirty stuff on the clothes line for a week or so before washing to remove most of the dog hair

  • Thanks for the fabulous suggestion of a product with Eucalyptus oil. :)

  • Some sort woolwash that is Eucalyptus scented to deter flees. It is also low allergy so it won’t effect your dog’s skin either.
