I think you don’t need to focus on one area. My fave blogs cover lots of topics. Commenting on others blogs and actively participating will help you find readers

I am also wanting to start vids and blogs not sure were to start. I made a facebook page. have you done that?

I am looking into this myself. Eventually I will be blogging & vlogging (on youtube)! I am just at a crossroads on what I want to talk about. lol

I LOVE writing a blog, it has connected me to the world and opened up so many opportunities to me over my 4 years of writing. Pick your niche, or give your self permission to not have one – either is fine, but a niche is definately a more successful formula. Join some blogging groups on facebook – Bloggers are the best people in the world and there is no such thing as a stranger in a room of bloggers. Blogger conventions, blogger meet ups, blogger expo’s…..there is so much fun to be had on top of actually writing the blog!

I have used blogger in the past. It could be a lifestyle blog, or like an e diary to cover more topics.

WordPress seems the way to start. I follow a lot of blogs, mainly fun parenting ones. They all have different topics which I enjoy relating to kids. I like their giveaways too.

I have started a beauty blog via wordpress.com its easy once you get started. There are also some great blog advice facebook pages. Find something you really are passionate about, follow some bloggers or maybe look into vlogging if you are game.
