Hello!

I have some kids craft projects that recommend using liquid watercolours so there is no staining of kids hands and I am trying to locate somewhere in Sydney or online with cheap postage that does small preferably 2oz sets. Thanks

  • Officeworks is probably cheaper than somewhere like Ekersleys.

  • ebay and gumtree – heaps on there

  • These days you can find paint and various art and crafts supplies at bargain stores. Check the tube to make sure they are the ones you are looking for .

  • Monte Mart are a pretty good cheap brand … available at cheap shops and online

  • home made is fine for the job but a discount shop is where i would go to find some! and reject shop, hong kong importers and flash harry’s all stock the same brand of paint

  • Maybe try the reject shop? otherwise I would look for an online art supply place!

  • Try the reject stores I recently brought some and cost me $2 so look there hun.

  • Love the idea and method for the home made paints. What a terrific idea!

  • i buy lots from all the cheap shops – sups cheap, reject shop

  • You can find out at lincraft or reject shop.

  • I make homemade paint for the grandkids,It’s cheap & can be a fun activity for them making it.You will need 3 tbls sugar,1/2 tsp salt,1/2 cup of cornflour, 2 cups water, food colouring. Put all the ingredients except the food colouring into a saucepan on low-medium heat & stir for a minute or so, stirring continuously. Let it cool & then place it in separate jars & add the food colouring.

  • cheap as chips or the $2 shops some times have these.

  • Lots of $2 shops have really good art supplies so you might want to try there.

  • try Ebay, you can usually get everything off there

  • A lot of reject shop type shops sell these, have you checked them out?

  • Big w, and kmart have online stores

  • Wow I didn’t knew they were Coles. I had a watercolor box that was quite old. My daughter uses it now and it’s about to finish. I was wondering the same. I do make paints for her at home but it’s quite messy. And we go to Coles all the time. Thanks I will get from there

  • I’ve bought these from several different sellers on amazon.com. You could also check eBay, but I’ve never had a problem with any orders I’ve made through Amazon.

  • We got a great little set from Coles stationary aisle for about $3. Can also get them cheaply at $2 shops.

  • Try Officeworks or Eckerleys (online).
