Can I put coconut oil on my wooden floors?

Hello!

Some of the boards have been polished but some is like new as I had to pull up the carpet, my has is pretty old and I don’t want more carpet on it but I don’t want to replace with carpet, does anyone use on their floodboughts.

I wouldn’t use it either, as I think it would be far too slippery. The brand Cedar do a nice floor polish. Running a walnut on scratches works well for a short term fix.

Coconut oil is pretty expensive. I woukd try proper floor stuff, hopefully its cheaper

I would be concerned about the floor possibly being to slippery too?

I’m not sure about coconut oil. There are plenty of wood polishes/ wood cleaners, including in the supermarket. I’d use something specifically for floorboards.
