  • LOL I can just imagine! Try not to react and they might get bored of it.

  • My 27mo son still does this. I do hope it is a phase

  • dont worry this is what kids do

  • there are some good comments here

  • How are they going now?

  • Just a firm “we don’t spit” an take their bottle off them. Hopefully the phase passes.

  • sounds like they have discovered a new trick and will hopefully stop when they find another one

  • How are they now? Hopefully they will grow out of it.

  • i hope its all worked out

  • kids go through many stages this is just one of them. Its fun.

  • Good luck and I hope that they stop soon

  • It’s just a phase the little ones are going through. To them, it’s a game. I’d tell them spitting is yucky and remove their water bottles from them when it happens. They’ll grow out of it – and move on to picking their noses and eating the boogers, or sticking their fingers in their mouths and making funny faces, etc.

  • I think its just a phase that their going through because I have 21 month old twins who do exactly the same, they drink out of a water bottle and think its funny to spit at each other and on the ground.

  • try some good distractions and maybe not feed them close together? i admire you bringing up twins

  • I am sure they are just having fun, say no to their behaviour, and try to distract them with something else.

  • aaww….they are just having fun. Im sure its a pain and they make a mess but they are not misbehaving they are just enjoying life.

  • Yes its a phase and I bet they find it fun! Take their bottles off them when they do it and if need be separate them. Say no, remove the bottles and say if you can’t behave that you will separate them. It is just a game for them so if you make it so it isn’t fun they should stop……hopefully.

  • Separate them every time the do it. They will catch on.

  • Yes it is just a phase and they will stop especially if you tell them that it is naughty when they do it

  • Just a fascination for them. I’m sure they will grow out of it.
